You Glow Girl
Have you ever tried to pronounce ingredients on the back of beauty products? Most times, I don’t recognize nearly any of the words and give up halfway through the list. Finding all-natural skincare can seem quite daunting, especially when you aren’t sure what ingredients to look for. I recently discovered a skincare line called BioClarity. Cleanse

The acne treat gel has 2% Salicylic Acid – this ingredient is found in almost all acne products, as it is proven to clear pores of dirt and oil. It also contains Oat Kernel Extract which helps balance out the skin and provides hydration.
Restore
This is my favorite part of the skincare line mainly because of the color of the gel. I love all things green. Just call me Kraftgreeen. It contains Floralux, which is a naturally derived compound made from Chlorophyll (this is the green stuff in plants.) The gel helps calm redness and irritation, and I love that it’s the last step because it really leaves your skin smooth and bright. The plant power also promises a reduction in free-radicals and a speedier cell turnover. More cells = plumper and smoother skin. This is the step that really makes me feel like I’m glowing!
Hydrate
Also called their “skin smoothie” the hydrating lotion contains argan, olive, floralux, jojoba, chamomile, shea, licorice root and ceramides. It’s packed full of ingredients to lock in the moisture - use this twice daily after you complete the 3-step routine.
All this being said, it’s important to remember that what you put in your body is just as (if not more) important as what you put on it. I’ve learned that diet has such an impact on my skin - cutting out dairy and reducing the amount of refined sugar I eat has been crucial. Elimination diets (cutting out a certain food or food group for 3 + weeks and then slowly incorporating it back in) can help you learn how foods affect you. Your body will tell you how it’s feeling – you just have to listen and look for different cues. Face-mapping has been life-changing for me!
